I honestly believe that what they serve at Granny Annie's, is the definition of 'Comfort Food'. Every time that I've eaten there, I've been served mass amounts of great tasting food, for an even better price! Such a sweet staff of server's. Their scones w/ honey butter, are to die for! BTW ♡♡♡ I personally prefer it over any IHOP or Denny's restaurant.
We went for the first time there today (11/2/17) on a Thursday morning at around 8am for breakfast and it was really good, hearty food. But it wasn’t the warm comfy atmosphere that I had hoped for. Due to a lack of customers at this time, only half of the restaurant was lit, which is understandable. But the place was also freezing cold. On top of that, there was no background music playing, which left only the awkward noises of sparse conversations and the clinking noises of dishes and utensils from the eating patrons. We will probably go back for another try on a Saturday morning as I always see lots of traffic there.
3.5 stars. This place has good food at a reasonable price. They never open half of the sitting area which is terribly dumb when you have people waiting to sit and order. It is seat yourself and often you have to ask another to move so you can have seating. Yet they always have half the tables closed of with no lights which could seat the waiting customers. If there is a wait you may want to check out Sill's instead.
Talk about a great resturant my mom and I stopped in for breakfast and were so surprised at how busy it was. Once getting a seat the waitress was right there to take our order. At first we were a little hesitant at the what seemed like immediate delivery of our food. We thought for sure it was going to be cold or of poor quality.... NO it was hot fresh and delicious. And there strawberry fritter was fabulous
This is a great place to go for any meal. The food is awesome, and the servers are fantastic. The only downside is there is only ever one side of the restaurant open.
