****The funny thing is, when my wife and I have purchased lighting for our projects from them on previous occasions, and our appearance was very presentable, we were helped immediately. The irony of it all, is this particular project ended up being over 70k in lighting alone!
Horrible customer service! I've been remodeling homes for 8 years and Duncan Lighting is the WORST!
I have found Duncan Lighting to be ethical and a pleasure to work with in all of my dealings with them.
My wife and I went in from the job site in our dirty work clothes. They didn't bother speaking to us for 15 minutes while we waited in front of the counter. All three of the working employees saw us there, but ignored us based on our appearance.
Finally, someone said in an annoyed tone, "Yeah, we'll be with you in a minute." Another 10 minutes went by and still nothing.
They don't like to answer their phone--always get a busy signal.
I WILL NEVER SUPPORT A COMPANY AS PRETENTIOUS AS DUNCAN LIGHTING AND WILL CONTINUE SPREADING THE WORD TO EVERYONE I KNOW. It's actually inconvenient to travel farther for our lighting needs on projects, but we continue to do so on matter of principle alone.
